Horarios do Funchal and Drivers Union agree on 4th company agreement revision
Horarios do Funchal - Transportes Publicos, S.A. and the National Union of Drivers and Other Workers have formalized the 4th revision of their company agreement, effective January 1, 2026.
The 4th revision of the company agreement between Horarios do Funchal - Transportes Publicos, S.A. and the National Union of Drivers and Other Workers has been published. The document, covering approximately 202 employees, introduces significant changes to several clauses:
- Training: The company covers the costs for renewing driving licenses, driver qualification cards (CQM), driver aptitude certificates (CAM), collective transport of children certificates (TCC), and digital tachograph cards.
- Allowances: The meal allowance has been set at 8.75 €, with provisions for future updates.
- Transport: Guarantee of free transport on the company's regular routes for permanent employees, retirees, workers unable to work due to illness or accident, and children of employees up to 24 years old.
- Salary Table: Update of the monthly base salary table, with brackets ranging from 1,055.00 € to 1,743.54 €.
The changes come into effect on the first day of the month following publication, with retroactive effects to January 1, 2026.
