The 4th revision of the company agreement between Horarios do Funchal - Transportes Publicos, S.A. and the National Union of Drivers and Other Workers has been published. The document, covering approximately 202 employees, introduces significant changes to several clauses:
The changes come into effect on the first day of the month following publication, with retroactive effects to January 1, 2026.
The Regional Government is considering extending to Madeira the salary changes agreed by the Portuguese Professional Football League and the Professional Football Players’ Union. Interested parties may submit a reasoned objection within 10 days of the notice’s publication.
EEM’s agreements with STEEM and SINERGIA set salary scales for 2026 and update several monetary benefits, including meal, shift and seniority allowances. Two draft orders are also open for public consultation to extend the terms to workers not represented by the signatory unions.
The terms of CARRISTUR’s company agreement will also apply in Madeira to covered workers who are not represented by FECTRANS. The extension order takes effect the day after publication, with financial effects as provided for in the agreement.
