The terms of CARRISTUR’s company agreement will also apply in Madeira to covered workers who are not represented by FECTRANS. The extension order takes effect the day after publication, with financial effects as provided for in the agreement.
The working conditions set out in the company agreement between CARRISTUR - Inovação em Transportes Urbanos e Regionais, Sociedade Unipessoal Ld.ª and the Federation of Transport and Communications Unions - FECTRANS will also cover, in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, company workers who are not represented by the signatory union.
The extension was ordered by Extension Order No. 42/2026, published on 28 September. It covers the occupations and professional categories set out in the agreement, including the salary changes and other conditions established therein. Clauses that conflict with mandatory legal provisions are excluded.
The order enters into force on the day after publication. Its financial clauses take effect under the same terms set out in the company agreement, published in JORAM, Series III, No. 17, on 7 September 2026.
The Regional Government justifies the extension on the grounds that similar employment relationships exist in the Region and that it aims to promote fairer, more uniform working conditions. The draft had been published previously and, according to the order, no objections were submitted by interested parties.
The Regional Government is considering extending to Madeira the salary changes agreed by the Portuguese Professional Football League and the Professional Football Players’ Union. Interested parties may submit a reasoned objection within 10 days of the notice’s publication.
EEM’s agreements with STEEM and SINERGIA set salary scales for 2026 and update several monetary benefits, including meal, shift and seniority allowances. Two draft orders are also open for public consultation to extend the terms to workers not represented by the signatory unions.
Renata Isabel Pão Rosário joins the staff of the Regional Authority for Working Conditions as a senior labour inspector. The transfer takes effect on 7 September 2026.
