Four resolutions have been published authorizing the expropriation of one plot of land and the declassification of three public domain properties, all necessary to advance road and safety works.
The Regional Government Council approved a set of measures to free up land necessary for the execution of major infrastructure works in the Region. The decisions involve processes of expropriation and declassification of public domain assets.

These measures are fundamental to removing legal and patrimonial obstacles, allowing the start or completion of mobility, safety, and public interest housing projects.
The public utility status has been declared for the expropriation of land needed for the regularization and channeling of the Ribeiro da Raiz stream in Curral das Freiras, aiming to mitigate flood risks.
The Regional Government authorized the purchase of seven land plots in Santo António for €4,380 to proceed with access and safety infrastructure in the high zone of the parish.
Ordinance No. 532/2026 redistributes the budgetary charges of the program-contract with the Municipality of Machico for the cemetery rehabilitation, for a total amount of 3.14 million euros.
