The public company ARM - Águas e Resíduos da Madeira and the SITE/CSRA union have celebrated the fourth revision of the company agreement, which includes a salary update retroactive to January 1, 2026 and a progressive increase in the meal allowance until 2029.
The fourth revision of the company agreement celebrated between ARM - Águas e Resíduos da Madeira, S.A. and the SITE/CSRA - Union of Workers of the Manufacturing Industries, Energy and Environmental Activities of the Center South and Autonomous Regions has been published in JORAM. The agreement, signed in Funchal on July 22, 2026, revises the previous consolidated text and introduces significant changes to the working conditions of the approximately 121 covered workers.

The agreement also includes the complete update of the salary tables (Annexes A, B and C), which define the monetary amounts for all categories and positions, including managers, senior technicians and operational assistants. The company agreement is valid for three years, renewing automatically for one-year periods.
The Regional Secretariat for Inclusion, Labor and Youth has published two ordinances extending the effects of wage agreements and other working conditions in the chemical and accounting sectors to all employers and workers in the Region.
