Ordinance updates APRAM pilots career with new pay scale

The Regional Government approved a change to the APRAM pilots' staff map, granting a new pay scale to the career, with retroactive effect from January 1, 2026.

The Regional Government of Madeira, through the Regional Secretaries of Economy and Finance, published Ordinance No. 398/2026, which amends the staff map for the piloting technical personnel of APRAM - Administration of Ports of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, S.A.

The main change introduced consists of granting one more pay scale to the pilot career. The justification presented in the official document points to the need to update the workers' careers, as the staff map is based on legislation that is over 24 years old, despite having undergone minor previous changes.

According to the published annex, the pilot career will now have nine development grades (from 1 to 9), corresponding to pay scales ranging from 22 to 30.

The ordinance establishes that workers transition to the new pay scale, maintaining the grade they hold, with time carried over to the next grade. The measure has retroactive effect from January 1, 2026.

The change repeals Annex I of Ordinance No. 32/2001, of February 28, published in JORAM, Series I, No. 23, of April 9.
