The Regional Secretariat for Inclusion, Work and Youth has opened a competition to recruit a senior technician with a degree in Law.
The Regional Secretariat for Inclusion, Work and Youth (SRITJ) has opened a public competition to fill a vacancy in its office. The procedure is intended for the recruitment of a senior technician with a degree in Law, under an open-ended public functions employment contract.
The competition was opened by Notice No. 363/2026 and applications can be submitted within 10 working days, starting from the working day following the publication of the notice in the Official Journal.
Candidates must hold a degree in Law, and this qualification cannot be substituted by training or professional experience. The job position is provided for in the staff plan of the Office of the Regional Secretary for Inclusion, Work and Youth (GSRITJ) and the duties to be performed fall within the scope of the Legal Office of this service.
The workplace will be at Rua João de Deus, No. 5, in Funchal. The salary level will be negotiated after the conclusion of the competition, based on the first salary level of the Senior Technician career (level 16 of the Single Remuneration Table). Candidates with a doctorate degree will be placed at the third salary level.
The selection methods include a Knowledge Test (weighted at 60%) and a Professional Selection Interview (weighted at 40%), except for candidates who already perform identical functions in the Public Administration, for whom a Curriculum Assessment applies instead of the test.
The coordinators of the Customer Support Unit and the Enforcement Process and Modernization of Fines Unit will receive a 10% increase on their base salary.
Employer associations and trade unions in the vehicle inspection sector have agreed on a revision of the collective labor agreement, establishing new minimum salaries and a meal allowance of 11.50 euros.
