The Regional Roads Directorate (DRE) now has a new internal organization aimed at optimizing the management of the regional road network.
Ordinance no. 267/2026 has been published, approving the new core structure of the Regional Roads Directorate (DRE). This diploma follows Regional Regulatory Decree no. 3/2026/M, which defined the mission and responsibilities of this body.
The DRE is now organized into the following six core organic units:
In addition to the core structure, the diploma sets the maximum number of flexible organic units at seven. The ordinance also establishes that the current service commissions of the Service Directors will transition to the corresponding new organic units. With the entry into force of this diploma, Ordinance no. 44/2017 of February 16, and its subsequent amendments, are revoked.
The Regional Government has authorized an expenditure of 9.9 million euros for the construction of solid material retention structures on the Ribeira da Ameixieira, in Serra d'Agua.
The Regional Secretariat of Finance has redistributed budgetary charges for the Digital Innovation and Skills Center project.
The Regional Government has authorized the distribution of budgetary charges for the construction of weirs in Serra d'Água, with a total investment of 3.8 million euros.
