Three Schools in Madeira Appoint Administrative Coordinators for the Next School Year

The Regional Secretariat of Education, Science and Technology has published orders appointing and renewing the service commissions for school administrative services coordinators in three educational establishments in the Region.

The administrative management of three schools in the Autonomous Region of Madeira has been secured for the next school year with the publication of orders in the Official Journal. The decisions involve a new appointment and two renewals for the position of school administrative services coordinator, a role remunerated with a 45% supplement of the base salary of the Public Administration.

The appointments are made under Regional Legislative Decree No. 13/2021/M, amended by Regional Legislative Decree No. 29/2023/M, and have a duration of one school year, taking effect from September 1, 2026.

The schools and professionals involved are:

  • Porto Moniz Basic and Secondary School with Pre-School and Nursery: Technical Assistant Maria Conceição da Silva Loreto Nascimento was appointed to the position via Order No. 284/2026. In her absence, she will be replaced by Technical Assistant Maria Luísa Jardim Serrão.
  • Dr. Eduardo Brazão de Castro Basic School with Pre-School: The renewal of the service commission for Technical Coordinator Noélia Maria Sousa Abreu Batista was authorized via Order No. 285/2026. Her substitute will be Technical Assistant Maria da Graça Sousa Abreu.
  • Ponta do Sol Basic and Secondary School: The renewal of the service commission for Technical Assistant Maria Fernanda de Sousa Alves was authorized via Order No. 286/2026. Her substitute will be Technical Assistant Cláudia Maria de Canha Corte Real.

These appointments aim to ensure the continuity and effectiveness of school administrative services, which are fundamental for the normal functioning of educational communities.
