ARM Madeira updates company agreement and salary scales
The fourth revision of the ARM company agreement introduces salary updates with retroactive effect to January 2026 and adjusts benefits such as the meal allowance.
ARM - Águas e Resíduos da Madeira, S.A. has concluded the fourth revision of its company agreement with the Union of Public Administration Workers (SINTAP) and the Union of Public Service Workers of the Autonomous Region of Madeira (STFP - RAM). The document, published in the JORAM on May 29, 2026, establishes new labor and salary conditions.
Main changes:
- Salary Update: With retroactive effect to January 1, 2026, except for specific clauses of the Salary Framework Regulation.
- Meal Allowance: Updated to €7.50 in 2026, with annual increases planned up to €9.00 in 2029. Payment is made exclusively via card.
- Cash Shortage Allowance: Set at a daily gross value of €4.40.
- Progression Rules: Adjustments to performance evaluation criteria and remuneration positioning.
The agreement consolidates the career and position structure, including the technical, higher, and operational staff framework, and defines the new salary scales and representation expenses for the company's various functional groups.
