The Resolution of the Legislative Assembly of the Autonomous Region of Madeira No. 25/2026/M emphasizes the importance of ensuring that all people, regardless of their conditions, can exercise their fundamental rights and develop autonomous life projects. The MAVI represents a paradigm shift in public policies, transitioning from an institutional model to a person-centered model focused on personal assistance.
The resolution recommends that the evaluation of the model in the regional context be carried out in coordination with the Madeira Social Inclusion Center and social economy entities.
