Regional Government reschedules expenses for the new Câmara de Lobos nursing home
The Regional Government of Madeira has redistributed the budgetary expenses for the management of the future Câmara de Lobos nursing home, adjusting the payment schedule until 2031.
The Regional Government of Madeira, through Ordinance no. 261/2026, published in the Official Journal of the Autonomous Region of Madeira (JORAM), announced the amendment and redistribution of budgetary expenses intended for the conclusion of a Cooperation Agreement for the management and operation of the new Câmara de Lobos Nursing Home.
The decision follows delays in the administrative procedure for selecting the social and solidarity sector entity that will be responsible for the facility. As the start of the home's operation is now scheduled for the last quarter of 2026, it was necessary to adjust the multi-annual financial scaling, while maintaining the total amount of €4,917,852.00.
New expense scaling:
- 2026: €245,892.60
- 2027: €983,570.40
- 2028: €983,570.40
- 2029: €983,570.40
- 2030: €983,570.40
- 2031: €737,677.80
The Madeira Social Security Institute (ISSM, IP-RAM) is authorized to increase these annual amounts if there is budgetary availability, taking into account the monthly contribution set at €81,964.20. The expenditure for the year 2026 is duly allocated in the Financial Information System (SIF) under no. 7526000200.
