Regional Government approves proposal for the Elderly Person Statute
The Madeiran executive has approved the proposal for a Regional Legislative Decree that creates the Elderly Person Statute in the Region.
The Regional Government Council has approved, through Resolution no. 633/2026, the proposal for a Regional Legislative Decree that establishes the Elderly Person Statute in the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
The document, which aims to strengthen the protection and rights of the senior population in the archipelago, will now be sent to the Legislative Assembly of the Autonomous Region of Madeira for parliamentary discussion and voting.
