The Regional Youth Directorate has approved and published the statutes of the new youth association 'Ritmo do Cuidar - ARC', which aims to promote culture, music, dance, and social inclusion.
The statutes of the Ritmo do Cuidar - ARC Association have been officially approved and published through Dispatch No. 374/2026 of the Regional Youth Directorate. The association, established on August 20, 2026, is headquartered at Rua do Seminário, No. 12 - 4 Direito, in Funchal.
It is a private non-profit entity, with the objective of promoting culture, music, dance, well-being, and social inclusion. Its primary focus is on young people and individuals in vulnerable situations, such as the elderly, people with disabilities, or those with socioeconomic needs.
Among its responsibilities are organizing events like 'silent disco', 'silent fitness', silent cinema, developing dance classes and workshops, and promoting artistic activities in hospitals, nursing homes, and community centers. The association also aims to establish regional, national, and international partnerships.
The association's governing bodies are the General Assembly, the Board of Directors, and the Supervisory Board, with three-year terms. The statutes were approved unanimously at the constitutive general assembly.
The Regional Youth Directorate will sign program contracts to finance fourteen social innovation projects submitted by youth associations and informal youth groups.
The Regional Government has authorized the distribution of multi-annual funds for a financial cooperation program contract between IHM and the Reinventa Association, aimed at social inclusion projects.
