Government revokes 1.1 million ordinance for pediatric continuing care

The ordinance authorizing the allocation of funds for the creation of Pediatric Integrated Continuing Care inpatient places, financed by the Recovery and Resilience Plan, has been revoked.

The Regional Government has revoked the ordinance that authorized the allocation of funds for a pediatric healthcare project due to a lack of financial execution.

Ordinance No. 386/2026 revokes Ordinance No. 94/2025 of January 29, as amended by Ordinance No. 800/2025 of December 9. These previous decrees authorized the distribution of budgetary charges for the execution of the investment C01-i05-RAM - Strengthening of the Regional Health Service, specifically under the sub-investment C01-i05.01 - Expansion, Development and Improvement of the Integrated Continuing Care Network.

The project's objective was the creation of inpatient places in the Pediatric Integrated Continuing Care category, financed under the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), up to a global amount of €1,128,000.00.

The ordinance text justifies the revocation on the grounds that, to date, there has been no financial execution of the authorized amount. This measure falls under the exceptional regime for streamlining procedures of the PRR-RAM projects.
