The distribution of 415 million euros in budgetary commitments for the third phase of the construction of the Madeira Central and University Hospital has been authorized.
The Regional Government of Madeira, through Ordinance no. 291/2026, has formalized the distribution of budgetary commitments related to the procedure 'MADEIRA CENTRAL AND UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL - 5TH PHASE - GENERAL INFRASTRUCTURE. FINISHING AND TECHNICAL INSTALLATIONS - A' (process no. 19/2026). The total investment amount reaches 415,000,000.00 euros, plus VAT at the legal rate in force.

The measure ensures the continuity of the construction of this strategic infrastructure for the Region, with the funds to be included in the respective annual budgets of the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
