Four continuing care units receive amendments to their programme contracts
The Region has amended the programme contracts of four units in Madeira’s Integrated Continuing Care Network, covering 121 beds. The updated total amounts range from around €1.86 million to €3.73 million.
Amendments have been published to the programme contracts of four long-term care and maintenance units within Madeira’s Integrated Continuing Care Network (REDE). The agreements update the total amounts associated with a total of 121 beds and itemise funding for healthcare, social support and the use of incontinence pads.
- Lar D’Ajuda IV Unit - Lar D’Ajuda - Lar e Centro de Dia, Sociedade Unipessoal, Lda., under Contract (extract) No. 2/2026, amending Contract No. 2/2025. It covers 30 beds and sets the total amount at €2,548,586.56: €1,320,152.40 for healthcare, €1,169,752.46 for social support care and €58,681.70 for incontinence pads. The amendment was signed on 20 July 2026, pursuant to Regional Government Council Resolution No. 712/2026.
- Casa de Saúde São João de Deus - Instituto São João de Deus, under Contract (extract) No. 3/2026, amending Contract No. 4/2025. It covers 24 beds and sets the total amount at €2,086,554.99: €1,062,095.04 for healthcare, €980,842.83 for social support care and €43,617.12 for incontinence pads. The amendment was signed on 22 July 2026, pursuant to Regional Government Council Resolution No. 714/2026.
- Casa de Saúde Câmara Pestana - Instituto das Irmãs Hospitaleiras do Sagrado Coração de Jesus - Casa de Saúde Câmara Pestana, under Contract (extract) No. 4/2026, amending Contract No. 1/2025. It covers 22 beds and sets the total amount at €1,860,081.03: €970,894.32 for healthcare, €846,470.25 for social support care and €42,716.46 for incontinence pads. The amendment was signed on 20 July 2026, pursuant to Regional Government Council Resolution No. 711/2026.
- DILECTUS, Residências Assistidas, S.A. Unit - DILECTUS, Residências Assistidas, S.A., under Contract (extract) No. 5/2026, amending Contract No. 3/2025. It covers 45 beds and sets the total amount at €3,730,445.30: €1,980,228.60 for healthcare, €1,660,465.15 for social support care and €89,751.55 for incontinence pads. The amendment was signed on 10 September 2026, pursuant to Regional Government Council Resolution No. 713/2026.
The contracts were signed by the service providers and the public bodies named in each agreement, within the REDE framework. The documents cite Article 42 of Regional Legislative Decree No. 8/2025/M of 30 December and Articles 40 and 56 of Ordinance No. 234/2018, as currently worded, as their legal basis.
