The Madeira Institute of Social Security will update the values of financial contributions for various typical-funded social responses, representing a total investment of approximately 631 thousand euros for 2026.
The update of the amounts of financial contributions paid by the Madeira Institute of Social Security, IP-RAM (ISSM, IP-RAM) to institutions in the social and solidarity sector has been authorized. The measure, approved by Regional Government Council Resolution No. 910/2026, has a total cost of 630,869.73 euros for the year 2026 and applies to cooperation instruments with typical funding.
The update follows what is defined in the Cooperation Commitment for the Social and Solidarity Sector 2025-2026 and its Addendum of April 2026. However, some social responses are excluded from the increase, namely the Home Support Service, the Social Center, and the Free Time Activities Center (ATL) in the classic modality without lunch.
The new values per user or service for 2026, according to Annex I of the resolution, are as follows:
The resolution also establishes specific increases for elderly people in a 2nd-degree dependency situation in Residential Structures. The update takes effect retroactively from January 1, 2026, except for the Shelter Home, which will have a phased application regime.
This initiative aims to strengthen the financial sustainability of social and solidarity sector institutions in Madeira, ensuring the continuity and quality of the social responses they provide to the community.
