The Regional Government of Madeira has approved a budget redistribution to finance the rehabilitation of the Estreito de Câmara de Lobos Civic Center. The measure aims to continue public investment in this facility.
Ordinance No. 413/2026, signed by the regional secretaries of Finance and of Equipment and Infrastructure, redistributes the charges foreseen in the Program-Contract between the Autonomous Region of Madeira and Sociedade Metropolitana de Desenvolvimento, S.A..
The investment is part of the PIDDAR project No. 52760 and has a maximum authorized total amount of 966,414.90 euros. The funds were allocated across the following fiscal years:
For 2026, the funds are included in the budget of the Regional Secretariat for Equipment and Infrastructure. The ordinance also establishes that the amount fixed for each year can be increased by the balance from the previous year and that the values do not include VAT.
The ordinance entered into force the day after its publication, on August 27, 2026.
