An order revises the annual allocation of costs for the three lots in the procedure for preliminary studies and environmental impact assessments of new road links. The total remains €3.317 million, plus VAT.
The Regional Government of Madeira has revised the allocation of budget costs associated with the procedure “New Road Links - Preliminary Study and Environmental Impact Assessment”. Order No. 578/2026 of 7 October revises Order No. 107/2026 of 18 March and distributes the amounts across the 2026, 2027 and 2028 financial years.
The total value of the three lots is €3,317,000. The order also stipulates that VAT at the applicable legal rate must be added to these amounts, and that any balance remaining in one year may be added to the amount set for the following year.
The 2026 expenditure is covered by the Autonomous Region of Madeira’s budget for that year. The funds for 2027 and 2028 will be included in the respective budgets. The order enters into force on the working day following its publication.
AFAVIAS - ENGENHARIA E CONSTRUÇÕES S.A. has won the contract to stabilise the Longueira slope on the ER110. The works are scheduled to take 180 days, and the contract price is subject to VAT at the applicable rate.
The Regional Government has extended until 31 May 2027 the transitional rules allowing certain ships to berth at the north and south quays of Caniçal Port. The measure will be reviewed when the technical studies are complete, or earlier if the necessary conditions are met.
