Additional Works Authorized at Cancela Junction for 113 Thousand Euros
The Regional Government authorized the execution of additional works to remedy errors and omissions in the Cancela Junction project, at a cost of 113,453.88 euros.
The Government Council authorized, through Regional Government Council Resolution No. 776/2026, the execution of additional works to remedy errors and omissions in the public works contract designated as "Cancela Junction - Construction Project".
The amount approved for these works is 113,453.88 euros, plus VAT at the current legal rate. The works concern the execution project for the Quinta Bridge Deck and fall under the regime of additional works provided for in the Public Procurement Code.
The original contract was signed on April 5, 2023, with the company "AFAVIAS – Engenharia e Construções, S.A." for a price of 2,378,726.25 euros and an execution period of 15 months. Since then, several objective modifications have been made, including extensions of the deadline and the execution of other additional works.
The execution of these new works does not determine the need for a new extension of the project's execution deadline. The Regional Secretary for Equipment and Infrastructure was mandated to sign the contract addendum.
