Regional Government boosts investment in two social housing projects
The Regional Government of Madeira has updated the budgetary commitments for the construction of housing units in Porto Moniz and Ribeira Brava, ensuring the continuity of the works.
The Regional Secretariat for Equipment and Infrastructure has amended and redistributed the budgetary commitments for two social housing construction contracts, ensuring the necessary funding for the completion of the projects through IHM - Investimentos Habitacionais da Madeira, EPERAM.
Projects included:
- Construction of 6 Housing Units, Infrastructure and Exterior Arrangements in Vila do Porto Moniz (EMP-C/2/2023): Regulated by Ordinance no. 300/2026, this project has a maximum value of €828,708.32. The financial schedule provides for €38,633.87 for 2024, €375,943.75 for 2025 and €414,130.70 for 2026.
- Construction of 17 Housing Units, Infrastructure and Exterior Arrangements of the Tabua Housing Complex - Ribeira Brava (EMP-C/4/2023): Regulated by Ordinance no. 301/2026, this contract totals a maximum value of €2,984,014.17. The payment plan stipulates €1,233,211.93 for 2025 and €1,750,802.24 for 2026.
In both cases, the amounts for the 2026 financial year are duly registered in the IHM budget, under organic classification 50 8 06 01 00, using funding sources 483 and 484. VAT at the current legal rate must be added to the indicated values.
