The Regional Government of Madeira has approved the redistribution of budgetary charges for seven strategic projects funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan.
Through Ordinance no. 274/2026, the Regional Government of Madeira has redistributed budgetary charges related to a financial contribution intended to cover investment amounts not eligible or not covered by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP). The maximum global amount totals €45,382,459.00.

The ordinance also establishes that the amounts set for each year may be increased by the balance found in the previous year, with the expenditure for 2026 being included in the budget of the Regional Secretariat for Equipment and Infrastructure.
The Regional Government has authorized the financial distribution for the renovation of the equipment in the Caniçal Tunnel, representing a total investment of 1.5 million euros.
The Regional Government authorized the execution of additional works to remedy errors and omissions in the Cancela Junction project, at a cost of 113,453.88 euros.
Four resolutions have been published authorizing the expropriation of one plot of land and the declassification of three public domain properties, all necessary to advance road and safety works.
