Ordinance no. 270/2026 adjusts the multi-annual financing plan for the recovery of municipal infrastructure affected by the 2020 storm.
Ordinance no. 270/2026 has been published, which proceeds with the amendment and redistribution of the multi-annual budget commitments related to the Technical and Financial Cooperation Program Contract between the Autonomous Region of Madeira and the Municipality of Sao Vicente. The objective is to finance the project for 'Works associated with the recovery and reconstruction of municipal infrastructure, affected by the storm of December 25, 2020', in a total amount of 2,299,914.30 €.

The expenditure planned for the current year of 2026 is covered by the budget of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, through the Regional Secretariat of Finance.
The Regional Government has authorized the financial distribution for the renovation of the equipment in the Caniçal Tunnel, representing a total investment of 1.5 million euros.
The Regional Government authorized the execution of additional works to remedy errors and omissions in the Cancela Junction project, at a cost of 113,453.88 euros.
Four resolutions have been published authorizing the expropriation of one plot of land and the declassification of three public domain properties, all necessary to advance road and safety works.
