The Regional Government of Madeira has authorized the distribution of budget commitments for the rehabilitation of Lagoa do Palheiro Ferreiro, totaling over 3.4 million euros.
Through Ordinance no. 198/2026, published in the Official Journal of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, the Regional Government has formalized the authorization for the distribution of budget commitments regarding the program contract to be signed with the entity ARM - Águas e Resíduos da Madeira, S.A.
The project, which aims to rehabilitate the Lagoa do Palheiro Ferreiro, represents a total investment of 3,499,510.00 €, with funding staggered as follows:
The expenditure is duly framed within the Budget of the Autonomous Region of Madeira for 2026, with budget allocation under organic classification 48 9 50 01 01 and allocation number CY4260760. The decree also provides that the amount set for each financial year may be increased by the balance found in the previous year, ensuring the necessary flexibility for the execution of the work.
The Government Council approved revised purchase values for two housing projects, totaling over 10 million euros, due to increased construction costs.
Ordinance No. 403/2026 authorizes the allocation of 2,160,500 euros for the 'ER 120 - Ribeiro Cochino/Calheta' construction project, with staggered payments until 2027.
