Ordinance no. 196/2026 establishes the new financial schedule for the structural rehabilitation of Cais Velho and the recovery of the Salinas Pier, in the city of Vila Baleira, Porto Santo. The total investment of €4,320,999.98 will be executed in the years 2026 (€778,447.40), 2027 (€2,816,283.56), and 2028 (€726,269.02).
The structural rehabilitation and recovery contract in Porto Santo has been awarded to the Teixeira Duarte group for over 4.3 million euros.
The Regional Government of Madeira has authorized the distribution of budget commitments for the rehabilitation of Lagoa do Palheiro Ferreiro, totaling over 3.4 million euros.
