The Regional Government has authorized the amendment of the program contract with IHM for the expansion of the housing stock, with a total investment of 125.25 million euros.
Through Regional Government Council Resolution No. 533/2026, the first amendment to the program contract signed between the Autonomous Region of Madeira and IHM - Investimentos Habitacionais da Madeira, EPERAM was authorized. The objective is to expand the regional housing stock under PIDDAR project No. 53569.
The total amount of financial contribution remains at €125,250,000.00, with only a redistribution of budgetary burdens between 2026 and 2030:
This measure aims to fulfill the 2020-2030 Regional Housing Strategy, strengthening the public supply of social housing and the rehabilitation of existing buildings.
