The Regional Government has extended the partial suspension of the Porto Santo Municipal Master Plan and the Golf Resort plan for another year.
Resolution no. 527/2026 determines the extension, for a period of one year, of the partial suspension of the Porto Santo Municipal Master Plan and the Porto Santo Golf Resort Urbanization Plan (PUGRPS). The measure maintains the restrictions and preventive measures previously established in the area covered by Resolution no. 470/2024.
The Government Council approved the expropriation of a plot in Palmeira and the acquisition of another in Santo António to proceed with drainage works and access improvements.
The Regional Finance Secretariat and the Regional Equipment and Infrastructure Secretariat have published three ordinances authorizing the distribution of funds for rehabilitation and development projects.
The Government Council approved revised purchase values for two housing projects, totaling over 10 million euros, due to increased construction costs.
