Regional Government boosts investment in landslide prevention on ER103
The Regional Government of Madeira has redistributed budget allocations for the risk mitigation project on the ER103, totaling an investment of 3.75 million euros.
The Regional Secretariat for Equipment and Infrastructure has published Ordinance No. 104/2026, which amends and redistributes the budget allocations for the "Prevention and Mitigation of Landslide Risk on the ER103 Cabouco" project. This intervention, essential for road safety in the region, has a total value of €3,750,000.00.
The new financial schedule defined by the Madeiran executive is as follows:
- Fiscal year 2026: €2,898,074.63
- Fiscal year 2027: €851,925.37
The ordinance also establishes that the amount set for each year may be increased by the balance from the previous year. The expenditure for 2026 is duly registered in the Budget of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, under the heading of Secretariat 50, Chapter 50, Division 03, Subdivision 01, Project 51852. VAT at the current legal rate must be added to the mentioned values.
