Regional Government increases budget allocations for transport
Ordinance no. 213/2026 formalizes the scheduling of budget allocations for family subsidies and transport operator agreements.
The Regional Government of Madeira, through the Regional Secretariat of Finance, has amended the budget allocations regarding the payment of family subsidies and cooperation agreements signed with the commercial companies Porto Santo Line, Transportes Marítimos, Lda. and Binter Canárias, S.A., as established in Ordinance no. 213/2026.
The total value of the allocations amounts to €20,089,633.64 (VAT exempt), distributed across the following fiscal years:
- 2020: €1,315,356.25
- 2021: €1,077,333.74
- 2022: €2,728,512.34
- 2023: €3,434,279.08
- 2024: €3,747,052.98
- 2025: €3,987,099.25
- 2026: €3,800,000.00
The expenditure for the year 2026 will be processed through project 51428, with allocation under Secretariat 47, Chapter 03.
