Regional Government changes payment schedule for fuel acquisition
Ordinance No. 533/2026 alters the distribution of charges for the acquisition of road fuels for the RAM fleet, with a total value exceeding 2 million euros.
The Regional Government has made a change to the payment schedule for the acquisition of fuels intended for the vehicles and equipment of the regional administration. The change was approved through Ordinance No. 533/2026, which gives new wording to a previous ordinance.
The measure covers three distinct lots for the acquisition of road fuels and Ad-Blue liquid, both at public filling stations and in bulk, on the island of Madeira and in mainland Portugal. The total value of the three lots adds up to 2,091,000.00 euros.
The ordinance establishes a new multi-year staggered schedule for payments, distributing the charges across the economic years from 2026 to 2029. The details per lot are as follows:
- Lot 1 - Fuels and Ad-Blue at Madeira stations: Total value of 1,860,000.00 €. Payments: 362,000.00 € (2026), 620,000.00 € (2027), 620,000.00 € (2028), 258,000.00 € (2029).
- Lot 2 - Fuels in bulk in Madeira: Total value of 225,000.00 €. Payments: 92,930.33 € (2026), 75,000.00 € (2027), 42,213.11 € (2028), 14,856.56 € (2029).
- Lot 3 - Fuels and Ad-Blue at mainland Portugal stations: Total value of 6,000.00 €. Payments: 1,200.00 € (2026), 2,000.00 € (2027), 2,000.00 € (2028), 800.00 € (2029).
This change allows for better financial and budgetary management of fuel expenses, which are essential for the operationality of the Region's services and equipment.
