Seven private schools with association contracts receive 7.7 million from the Region
The Regional Government Council Resolution No. 869/2026 authorizes association contracts with seven private educational establishments, with total support of 7.7 million euros for the 2026/2027 school year.
The Regional Government has authorized the signing of association contracts with seven private education and teaching establishments, for a total amount of €5,603,789.99. The authorization is contained in Regional Government Council Resolution No. 869/2026 and the support is intended to contribute to operating costs and school social action during the 2026/2027 school year, which will be in force until August 31, 2027.
These establishments act as a complement to the public network, in the areas of daycare, kindergarten, and the 1st, 2nd, and 7th cycles of basic education.
The entities covered are:
- Portuguese Province of the Priests of the Sacred Heart of Jesus - Colégio do Infante D. Henrique via Resolution No. 869/2026: €2,221,430.91
- Province of the Heart of Mary of the Congregation of the Franciscan Sisters of Our Lady of Victories - Externato S. João via Resolution No. 869/2026: €514,947.56
- Province of the Heart of Mary of the Congregation of the Franciscan Sisters of Our Lady of Victories - Externato Sant'Ana via Resolution No. 869/2026: €494,299.30
- Province of the Heart of Mary of the Congregation of the Franciscan Sisters of Our Lady of Victories - Externato Sto Condestável via Resolution No. 869/2026: €532,350.38
- Province of the Heart of Mary of the Congregation of the Franciscan Sisters of Our Lady of Victories - Ext. N. Srª Conceição-Porto Santo via Resolution No. 869/2026: €459,578.95
