Government Authorises €668 Thousand in Commitments for School Facilities Maintenance
Ordinance No. 606/2026 allocates the commitments for the limited tender for preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical installations, hotel equipment and other systems in the infrastructure under the SRE-DRPRI.
The Regional Secretariat for Education, Science and Technology and the Regional Secretariat for Finance published Ordinance No. 606/2026, which authorises the allocation of budgetary commitments relating to the "Limited Tender by Prior Qualification No. 1/2026" for the acquisition of preventive and corrective maintenance services in the infrastructure under the responsibility of the SRE-DRPRI.
The tender covers the maintenance of electrical installations, HVAC, domestic hot water and pool water treatment systems, hotel equipment, gas installations, and the systems, networks and technical installations of laundries, kitchens and their support annexes, divided into two lots.
Before the procedure was launched, the commitments were set out in Ordinance No. 133/2026, of 25 March, and were planned as follows, excluding VAT:
- Financial year 2026: €38,322.92
- Financial year 2027: €707,500.00
- Financial year 2028: €669,177.08
Following the award, the amounts were changed and are now as follows, also excluding VAT:
- Financial year 2026: €38,289.87
- Financial year 2027: €706,890.00
- Financial year 2028: €668,600.13
The 2026 expenditure will be charged to Funding Source 381 in the RAM budget for 2026, and the amounts for 2027 and 2028 will be entered in the respective budgets. The ordinance enters into force on the working day following its publication in the JORAM.
