Regional Government Council Resolution No. 867/2026 authorizes the signing of simple contracts with 27 private institutions to support operational and social action costs during the 2026/2027 school year.
The Regional Government of Madeira has approved a financial support package totalling €20,469,755.99 for 27 private education and teaching establishments, through the signing of simple contracts. The support, authorized by Regional Government Council Resolution No. 867/2026, aims to contribute to operational and educational social action costs (social support and/or school social action) during the 2026/2027 school year, which will be in force until August 27, 2027.
The covered establishments operate in the areas of daycare, kindergarten, and the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd cycles of basic education and secondary education. The Regional Secretary for Education, Science and Technology has been mandated to sign the contracts.
The beneficiaries and the maximum annual amounts (school year) are as follows:
Ordinance No. 606/2026 allocates the commitments for the limited tender for preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical installations, hotel equipment and other systems in the infrastructure under the SRE-DRPRI.
The president of the Executive Council of Caniçal Basic School with Preschool and Nursery has distributed responsibilities between its two vice-presidents and appointed a substitute in case of absence. The order ratifies actions taken since 9 July 2026.
Hélder José Vieira Miranda is assigned management and staff appraisal responsibilities at Torre Basic School for the 2nd and 3rd cycles. The order also ratifies actions taken under the delegation since 15 June 2026.
