Through Resolution No. 230/2026, the Regional Government Council authorized a total expenditure of 21,690,914.82 euros for the acquisition of prepared meals for public primary schools with preschool and daycare centers in the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
This amount, which covers the 2027, 2028, and 2029 school years, follows the financial programming established by Ordinance No. 132/2026. The public procurement process will be carried out through a restricted tender with prior qualification, with an announcement in the Official Journal of the European Union. The authority to conduct the procedure and sign the contracts has been delegated to the Regional Secretary of Education, Science and Technology.
