Regional Secretariat for Agriculture and Fisheries creates Certification Center
Through Order no. 204/2026, the Regional Secretary of Agriculture and Fisheries determined the creation of the Certification Center (CC), which will operate under the direct supervision of the Training and Research Division of the Regional Secretary's Office.
The main responsibilities of this new center include:
- Promoting the certification of training entities and their respective training actions or courses within the scope of specific sectoral certification;
- Exercising the duties of a certifying and homologating entity in the areas of agriculture, livestock, agri-food, rural development, and fisheries.
The CC will be coordinated by a senior technician, and its creation aims to address the certification needs regulated by sectoral legislation, as provided for in the organizational structure of the Regional Secretariat.
