Madeira sets new maximum fuel prices from 3 October
Maximum retail fuel prices in the Autonomous Region of Madeira take effect at midnight on 3 October 2026. Unleaded 95 petrol will cost €2.021 per litre and road diesel €2.120.
Maximum retail fuel prices in the Autonomous Region of Madeira have been approved by the Regional Government and take effect at midnight on 3 October 2026.
Joint Order No. 90/2026, signed on 2 October, sets the following limits per litre:
- IO 95 unleaded petrol: €2.021;
- Road diesel: €2.120;
- Coloured and marked diesel: €1.672.
The prices were approved under paragraphs 1 and 3 of Article 3 of Ordinance No. 25/2022 of 26 January, as currently amended. The order was signed by the Regional Secretary for the Economy, acting in place of the officeholder, Micaela Cristina Fonseca de Freitas, and the Regional Secretary for Finance, Duarte Nuno Nunes de Freitas.
