The Madeiran Executive has authorized a 5,000 euro program contract to ensure the operation of the Sao Lourenco da Camacha Parish Band in 2026.
The Regional Government of Madeira, through Resolution no. 175/2026, has approved the signing of a program contract with the Sao Lourenco da Camacha Parish Band Association (tax ID 511.212.992). The financial support, which will not exceed €5,000.00, is intended to enable the normal operation of the association during the year 2026.
This funding covers the association's ordinary expenses, including its social activity, facilities, staff, and equipment. The measure recognizes the band's fundamental role in the cultural and educational revitalization of the community, namely through its music school, which contributes to the continuity of musical art in the region.
