Government authorizes 4.6 million for flash flood and forest fire warning systems
Two ordinances authorize the distribution of budgetary charges for the acquisition of a river flow monitoring network and an integrated forest fire video surveillance system.
The Regional Government has authorized, through two ordinances, the distribution of budgetary charges for two crucial environmental prevention and monitoring projects. The joint investment amounts to over 4.6 million euros.
The approved projects are as follows:
- Contract for the Acquisition of Movable Goods CP2/2026-LREC - SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF A RIVER FLOW MONITORING NETWORK via Ordinance No. 516/2026. Maximum total value: €1,449,000.00 (one million, four hundred and forty-nine thousand euros). Distribution: €289,800.00 in 2026 and €1,159,200.00 in 2027.
- Contract for the Acquisition of Movable Goods CP3/2026-LREC - SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF AN INTEGRATED FOREST FIRE VIDEO SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM via Ordinance No. 517/2026. Maximum total value: €3,184,500.00 (three million, one hundred and eighty-four thousand, five hundred euros). Distribution: €477,675.00 in 2026 and €2,706,825.00 in 2027.
The value of both contracts is subject to VAT at the applicable legal rate. The amounts for 2027 will be included in the respective budget proposals.
