The Regional Government has authorized, through two ordinances, the distribution of budgetary charges for two crucial environmental prevention and monitoring projects. The joint investment amounts to over 4.6 million euros.

The value of both contracts is subject to VAT at the applicable legal rate. The amounts for 2027 will be included in the respective budget proposals.
The Regional Secretariat for Agriculture and Fisheries has established the funding application regime to protect forests against biotic and abiotic agents, such as fires and pests.
A 100% financial support for reforestation and recovery of forest areas affected by fires, pests, or natural disasters has been approved.
The Regional Secretariat for Agriculture and Fisheries sets the rules for applications for European funds for new forest plantations, with a support rate of 90%.
