The Government approved updated acquisition prices for two housing developments, totaling 8.4 million euros, following a contractual review stipulated in public offer OPCC 1/2024.
The Resolution of the Regional Government Council No. 766/2026 has been approved, which updates the acquisition values for housing units under the public acquisition offer OPCC 1/2024, managed by IHM - Investimentos Habitacionais da Madeira, EPERAM.
The price revision was triggered by an increase exceeding 5% in construction costs (raw materials and labor), a clause foreseen in the public offer announcement for cases of force majeure. This update also follows the withdrawal of a promoter from one of the initially planned developments.
The values for two developments whose construction is completed or ready for final deed were updated:
IHM, EPERAM is authorized to proceed with the necessary steps for the execution of the respective purchase and sale deeds. The expense will be covered by funds from the PRR (Recovery and Resilience Plan) and the regional budget.
The Regional Secretary for Equipment and Infrastructure has approved the new flexible organic structure of the Regional Roads Directorate, defining the responsibilities of seven divisions.
Ordinance No. 537/2026 regulates the allocation of exceptional support of 29,640 euros to eleven firefighter associations and rescue entities in Madeira, to compensate for the increase in fuel prices between April and June 2026.
