The Regional Government has authorised a public auction to lease a commercial space for a cafe at the Pico dos Barcelos Viewpoint in Funchal.
The Regional Government Council authorised, through Resolution No. 1013/2026, the opening of a public auction procedure for the lease of a commercial space intended for a cafe, located at the "Pico dos Barcelos Viewpoint".
The space corresponds to unit "A" of the urban building located at Pico dos Barcelos, parish of Santo António, municipality of Funchal, registered in the property matrix under urban article 8992.
According to the decree, opening the space represents an added value for residents and visitors, contributing to better enjoyment of the public facility. The use of a public auction favours publicity and broad competition, which should increase the financial consideration for the Region.
The authorisation was granted under articles 36, 37 and 62 of Regional Legislative Decree No. 7/2012/M, as amended and republished by Regional Legislative Decree No. 24/2017/M.
