Farmers, producer organizations, and groups of farmers who meet a series of eligibility criteria can apply for this support, including having the farm registered in the Parcel Identification System (SIP) and, in the case of crop protection, having plots in areas where protected species are active.
Applications must be submitted electronically via the PEPAC R.A. Madeira Portal (portalpepac.madeira.gov.pt), in accordance with specific notices that will be published. Each beneficiary can submit a maximum of two applications per action.
The ordinance also defines eligible expenses, limits for project design and supervision costs, execution deadlines (up to 24 months), and a detailed regime of reductions and exclusions in case of non-compliance with obligations by beneficiaries.
