Mónica Pita Appointed Division Head at Regional Directorate for Environment and Sea
Graduate Mónica José Gonçalves Pita has been appointed, on a service commission basis, to the intermediate management position of 2nd degree at the Regional Directorate for Environment and Sea.
The Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture has appointed a new division head for the Regional Directorate for Environment and Sea. The decision was formalized through Order No. 339/2026.
The appointee is Graduate Mónica José Gonçalves Pita, a senior technician from the Secretariat's Centralized Human Resources Management System. Her appointment to the position of Head of the Infractions and Legal Support Division was made on a service commission basis and results from a competitive procedure.
According to the order, the appointment takes effect from August 11, 2026. Mónica Pita, a Law graduate from the University of Lisbon, has extensive professional experience in the regional public administration, having worked in several legal offices of the regional secretariats for Environment and Agriculture. In recent months, she had already been performing the duties of the same position on an interim basis.
