Rosa Marina de Castro da Silva appointed director at Madeira Social Security Institute
Rosa Marina de Castro da Silva has been appointed, on a three-year commission of service, director of the Human Resources Management Department at the Madeira Social Security Institute. The appointment takes effect on 12 October 2026.
Rosa Marina de Castro da Silva has been appointed director of the Human Resources Management Department at the Madeira Social Security Institute, IP-RAM (ISSM). The post is a first-grade middle-management position and will be held on a three-year commission of service.
The appointment is set out in Order No. 403/2026, issued by the Regional Secretariat for Inclusion, Labour and Youth, and takes effect on 12 October 2026. The decision followed a competitive recruitment procedure, in which the selection panel recommended the candidate on the grounds that she met the required criteria and profile.
Rosa Marina de Castro da Silva holds a degree in Law and is a senior officer assigned to the staff establishment of the Institute of Forests and Nature Conservation, IP-RAM. Before her appointment, she had served as acting coordinator of the ISSM Legal Office since March 2024. She had also headed the Institute's Public Procurement Unit and worked as a senior officer in the Legal Support Office of the Institute of Forests and Nature Conservation.
The curriculum vitae published as an annex to the order lists, among other qualifications, postgraduate qualifications in Business and Organisation Management and Public Contract Law, as well as professional experience in law, public procurement and social security.
