Civil Protection opens recruitment for Head of Planning and Risk Management
The Regional Civil Protection Service has opened recruitment to fill a second-tier middle-management position in its Planning and Risk Management Division. Applications may be submitted within 10 working days of the notice being published.
Recruitment is open for the position of Head of the Planning and Risk Management Division at the Regional Civil Protection Service, IP-RAM (SRPC, IP-RAM). The position is a second-tier middle-management role, and its opening was authorised by an order issued by the Regional Secretary for Health and Civil Protection on 25 September 2026.
Applicants must hold a university degree and meet the legal requirements, including an open-ended public-sector employment contract and at least four years of professional experience in roles requiring a university degree. The notice also accepts professional experience in the private sector, provided it is duly documented and meets the specified conditions.
Applications must be submitted within 10 working days, starting on the day after publication of Notice No. 502/2026. The application, addressed to the President of the SRPC, IP-RAM, may be sent by post to Caminho do Pináculo, No. 14, 9060-236 Funchal, or delivered in person to the Board Support Office at the same address. In-person submissions are accepted from 09:30 to 12:00 and from 14:30 to 17:00.
Applicants must provide a detailed, dated and signed CV, a degree certificate and proof that they meet the admission requirements. They may also submit evidence of relevant training and professional experience. Selection will be made through a public interview.
