Internal Organization of the Regional Directorate for Social Equipment and Conservation Approved

The ordinance approving the internal organization of the Regional Directorate for Social Equipment and Conservation (DRESC) has been published. Ordinance No. 305/2026, of July 3, regulates the structure of this regional directorate, which is responsible for the design, construction, and conservation of public buildings and infrastructure.

DRESC will now be structured around three core organic units:

• Directorate of Studies and Projects Services (DSEP): responsible for the study, planning, design, and project development of construction, rehabilitation, and improvement works, including hydraulic infrastructure.
• Directorate of Conservation and Efficiency Services (DSCE): in charge of executing conservation and maintenance work on public buildings, as well as implementing energy efficiency measures.
• Directorate of Inspection and Hydraulics Services (DSFH): its mission is to inspect works and manage the fluvial water domain, ensuring control over the use of water resources.

The legal instrument repeals Ordinance No. 193/2021 and enters into force on the day following its publication.
