Appointments and replacements at the Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture
The Regional Government has appointed a new service director and defined the replacement chain for the Regional Directorate of Tourism.
The Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture has formalized, through Order No. 271/2026, the appointment of João Nuno Alencastre Perestrelo Gonçalves de Freitas to the position of Director of Archive Management and Processing Services, on a commission basis, following a competitive procedure.
Additionally, Order No. 272/2026 establishes the replacement hierarchy for the Regional Director of Tourism in case of absence or impediment, revoking the previous order from 2024:
- 1st Substitute: Master Cora Maria Gonçalves Teixeira (Director of Tourism Qualification Services);
- 2nd Substitute: Graduate Sara Inês Gomes Dias Lira Henriques (Director of Tourism Enterprises and Activities Services);
- 3rd Substitute: Graduate Helena Raquel Correia Brazão de Castro (Director of Planning and Resource Management Services).
These measures take effect from July 1, 2026.
