Regional Government approves 37,000 euros for canyoning and mountain biking events in Seixal
Ordinance No. 536/2026 authorises the distribution of 37,000 euros for a Programme Contract with the Seixal Naval Club, aimed at the 'Canyoning Madeira Meeting' and 'Mountain Bike Madeira Meeting' projects.
The Regional Government of Madeira has approved financial support for the organisation of two sporting events on the island's north coast. The total amount of 37,000 euros will be distributed over the 2026 and 2027 fiscal years.
The support, formalised through Ordinance No. 536/2026, authorises the signing of a Programme Contract with the Seixal Naval Club. The funds are specifically intended for the "Canyoning Madeira Meeting" and "Mountain Bike Madeira Meeting" projects.
The budgetary distribution was defined as follows:
- €25,900.00 for the 2026 fiscal year.
- €11,100.00 for the 2027 fiscal year.
The ordinance came into force the day after its publication, on 18 September 2026.
