A joint order grants the subsidy to four staff members at a basic and secondary school in Câmara de Lobos and defines substitutes for absences.
The Regional Government of Madeira has granted the right to a cash handling allowance to four workers at the Dr. Luís Maurílio da Silva Dantas Basic and Secondary School in Câmara de Lobos. The measure, which aims to compensate for the handling and safekeeping of valuables, was published through Joint Order No. 87/2026, signed by the regional secretariats of Education, Science and Technology and Finance.
The cash handling allowance is a subsidy provided for workers who handle cash, valuables, securities, or documents and are responsible for them. The order revokes previous decisions and establishes the following:
The document also defines substitutes to ensure service continuity. During the absence of the treasurer, Lícia Faria Almada, she will be replaced by technical assistant Marco Paulo Barreto Rodrigues. The absences of the operational assistants assigned to the stationery and cash transport will be covered by another Operational Assistant who already benefits from the same allowance.
The decision is based on the Regional Regulatory Decree No. 20/89/M and the Regional Legislative Decree No. 12/2018/M, which establish the criteria for granting this support.
