The Regional Government Council approved resolutions to publicly praise six Madeiran athletes and their respective clubs and associations for the excellent results obtained in European and international competitions.
The Regional Government of Madeira, meeting in plenary on September 6, 2026, approved a set of resolutions to publicly praise the sporting merit of athletes from the region. The decisions recognize the achievements that brought prestige to the Autonomous Region of Madeira on international stages.

All resolutions were signed by the President of the Regional Government, Miguel Filipe Machado de Albuquerque, and published in the Official Journal of the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
The Government Council approved public commendation resolutions for athletes and clubs from Madeira for medals won at world and European championships and the Mediterranean Games.
The Council of the Government approved four resolutions to publicly praise athletes, clubs, and regional associations for medals won at European and national championships.
The Regional Youth Directorate will finance 14 projects from associations and informal youth groups under the PRINT program, with a total investment of 38,165 euros for 2026 and 2027.
